Our team can guide you through the process step by step, coordinating research, creating the plan and implementing all or part of the plan's elements. From press briefings and special events to annual reports and newsletters, we ensure that every detail is handled thoroughly and professionally, with an unwavering focus on achieving the stated goal.
Our special area of expertise is health care - hospitals, health systems, foundations and associations - and our team includes professionals with extensive experience in public relations and marketing, fund-raising, writing (for consumers and physicians) and graphic design. Arbogast & Associates has also worked with associations, the hospitality industry and environmental groups.

Strategists
Donna Arbogast began her career in public relations and marketing at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, in 1980, after graduating cum laude from the University of Maryland College of Journalism. In 1985, she launched her own consulting firm, and has been providing clients with award-winning strategic planning and project management for the past 20 years. Two of the health care advocacy campaigns she created and implemented - one on women and heart disease and the other on diabetes - earned Silver Anvil awards from the Public Relations Society of America, the most distinguished recognition in the field.
Donna is an accomplished writer, event planner and manager with a special interest in developing programs that integrate marketing and public relations strategies, and in establishing community and corporate partnerships to further clients' goals and objectives. Donna is currently working on her master's in marketing at Johns Hopkins University. She lives in Crofton, MD, with her husband Duane and has two sons, both of whom now also attend the University of Maryland.

Leslie Whitlinger has extensive public relations, marketing and development experience with a variety of national and regional for-profit and non-profit organizations. She then became a Managing Director at Hill and Knowlton in the health care division, working with such clients as American Oncology Resources, the Association of Podiatric Medicine and University of Maryland Medical Center. In the course of her career, Leslie has also worked for Grantmakers In Health, the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts.
